We gather around the fire,light reflected on faces
Hands held out for warmth touching those next to us in circle
Sacred stones in fire waiting for prayers and the pouring of the sacred water
Movement into the earth's womb, darkness surrounds with breath of the sacred
Thoughts,  intentions, gifts from and to those in circle and carried in our hearts
Healing of body,soul, mind, spirit, Healing by earth, water, wind and fire
Under sky, stars and moon, We are the ancient and the just born

Join us for this Autumnal Vision Quest where you will be
guided and nurtured in a safe space to call for a vision in your life
to  guide and nurture yourself on your path

*We meet on the land  where you will 'Call for your Vision'
   on Monday October 1st at 6:30pm for further information and details and questions
*You will begin your 28 days of preparation for your quest
  on Friday October 5th, when you will begin your journey
*Camping on the land Friday before and Saturday night after your quest (opt.)
*Sacred ceremony including N Am. drumming, medicine wheel, pipe sharing and sweatlodge
*Time connecting and enjoying the earth and life around you
*Individual and group exercizes to balance body, mind ,spirit and emotions
*Fasting to cleanse mind and body with herbal and nutritional support
* Calling for a vision for your life
*Sharing of food as the end of the day

Remembering

   The rains have come and brought new life to the land that surrounds me, the land I tend here in West Central Indiana. I am grateful and remember what the earth looked and felt like just 2 weeks ago. I can not forget that it is we humans, two leggeds, that have created the environment , the climate we find ourselves living within. It is not a belief . It is the effect of a people who have forgotten where we come from, from what we are created and that we are all connected.
   Healing is something that is an ongoing process, something that requires us all, in community to create. We have come to live apart from life, forgetting we are life. To live apart from each other and
other species of life. In that separateness, we forget that we need everyone of those other species to live who and what we are. To live and be what we are. To remember the ancients ways of Grandmother Earth and Grandfather Sun. To remember our ancestors and live for the moment and in that moment live for all that is to come. Aho, Constance Pearl Hunter

Earth Singing

Can you hear the Earth singing? We shall answer her call.

What a spring and summer we shall have !

We shall take her gifts and replenish our bodies and our spirits. 

We shall sing back to her.

Feel the beat of your heart. Hear the beat of the drum.

Listen to the beat of the earth as she awakens !

The earth is warming, greening. There is a song in the wind 

and movement in the earth. The Vernal Equinox is Tuesdau March 20th.

It is time for us to dance once again upon the Earth

and welcome green energy into our lives.

We will honor the Earth and all our relations

as we go into ceremony. Come walk the land,

speak from your heart,  fill your soul with

the energy of  the sacred plants, as they show themselves

to us in their ancient dance of life.

Living in gratitude of the greening of the earth, 

the change of the seasons and

all who work with the Earth to feed

Winter Erth Note

We keep spiraling back to our ancient connection to the earth.
And in this spiraling we walk the medicine wheel to find ourselves,
deep inside where we dream and live during this time of winter
And Grandfather Sun grows each day reminding us to shine !

To shine, to be ourselves, to follow our heart's, to live our dreams.
To shout, to whisper, to cry , to laugh, to be each moment, to know.
Knowing is living congruently between heart and mind,
living between the beat and the thought, between the earth and sky.

With our feet planted firmly upon the earth
we can only create that which is within each of us.
We can only dance to the beat of our hearts.
We can only see that which is our truth.
Speak your truth in everything you do and
in that truth we will heal ourselves,each other and the planet.
We will be in community with all life.

In that community we can create peace not conflict,
feast not famine, health not disease.
Air we can breath,water we can drink and food that nourishes.
We will be held accountable.
We will live.
